As an organisation our number one priority is the redevelopment of the Peaks Lane site. Existing facilities are not suitable or helpful to delivering positive outcomes. It is our intention to secure sufficient funding in order to provide world class, state-of-the-art facilities.

These will include not just modern and exciting accommodation but a range of other facilities, which could include sports and leisure, training and social enterprise.

The vision sees the YMCA delivering services for young people that they have been instrumental in designing and wanting. We have been working towards improved client engagement for over 18 months now and although some good progress has been made we need to take it to the next level.

We have just finished the Client Engagement Policy and this provides a clear framework for how people can progress through our services and get involved. There will be exciting new paid positions within Grimsby  Cleethorpes and Humber Region YMCA Ambassadors that will have a comprehensive support and training package attached to them for clients to take a fuller and more ‘real’ role in the organisation.
