Case Study: Kerry
Kerry moved from Skegness to the Peaks Lane hostel in March 2011.
Kerry had been through some traumatic experiences and was beginning her journey with the GCHRYMCA with a degree of anxiety.
Kerry met her current partner whilst living at the Peaks Lane hostel, and since March 2011 Kerry has overcome many obstacles and problems working closely with her coach and various outside agencies in order to access bereavement counselling. Kerry has also worked with a local Children’s Centre to attend parenting classes.
Kerry has now secured a Shoreline property for herself, and with help and support from Children’s Services and Floating Support Kerry will begin a new chapter in her life with her new family.
