What will you be doing?
• Delivering excellent customer service and making customers feel welcome in the shop
• Offering help and advice to customers as they make purchases
• Operating the till and dealing with various methods of payment
• Sorting and pricing of donations and preparing displays on the shop floor
• Dealing with customer enquiries and ensuring that the shop is tidy and presentable

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• Keeping records and information confidential, respecting data protection guidelines
• Providing clerical support e.g. photocopying, filing, e-mailing, faxing and the completion, processing and filing of routine forms.
• Producing documentation such as letters, memos and reports from dictation and hand-written drafts, to an agreed format
• Initiating standard letters and forms and collating and issuing papers for meetings.
• Maintaining and updating computerised recording and filing systems.
• Assisting with responding to general correspondence.
• Answering general telephone calls and assisting staff with hospitality for visitors, for meetings etc. In addition, take accurate minutes of meetings if needed.
• Providing support and cover for other administrative staff based on requirements.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• To assist the members of staff within the Housing Service at Peaks Lane and the Foyer to offer support to Clients based on policies and procedures.
• To work with Coaches and Managers to make sure that relevant information is recorded and shared within the Service.
• To deal with enquires and assist the Coaches in offering accommodation to accepted Clients.
• To assist the Coaches in ensuring that the Clients are aware of their rights and all policies and procedures that affect them.
• To assist the Coaches in developing activities for Clients.
• To make sure that rooms are ready for other clients to move into when they become empty.
• To help the members of staff with the management of rent.
• To record incidents & work practices accurately within established record keeping and confidentiality policies and to work within clear professional boundaries.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• Assisting with the maintenance and repair of the Association’s land, buildings and equipment.
• Work with the Maintenance Officer and the Maintenance Assistant to ensure that all maintenance issues are dealt with within targeted timescales.
• Carrying out maintenance checks, repairing any equipment / furniture that needs to be repaired and helping complete room decoration to make sure rooms are ready for use.
• To assist with monitoring maintenance to ensure that all sites conform to Health & Safety requirements.
• To carry out routine maintenance checks on all equipment at both sites to ensure that it is in full working order.
• To identify repair/replacement issues and report them to the Maintenance Officer. Additionally to carry out routine maintenance duties.
