Welsh a Winner at AGM

by admin

Foyer Project Worker John Welsh was named the winner of the Roland Archer Trophy at the Grimsby & Cleethorpes YMCA AGM on Monday 2 June.

The Roland Archer Trophy is presented every year to a GCYMCA employee and it is voted for by fellow staff and Service Users from both the Foyer and Peaks Lane sites.

Chief Executive Paul Cornell presented the award to a delighted John, who resides at the Peaks Lane site, at this year’s AGM.

John later posed for photographs with the trophy and dedicated his success to his colleagues at the Foyer, stating that it was ‘a team effort’.
